Magical cave moral story in English

 Long time ago, there lived two friends Ali and Muneeb in the Village of Baghdad. Ali was very poor and he used to feed the goats of the moneylender of the village. He was very honest and good person by nature.

 

Whereas Muneeb was rich and he was a greedy person by nature. Despite having a lot of business and money, he needed more money. It was a matter of one day that Ali took the goats to graze in the forest, where he sat down to take some rest, he fell a sleep, when he woke up, he saw that one goat was missing.

He was very nervous that if the owner comes to know now, he will be very angry. He thought that first he would leave all the goats at home and then come back there again and find that goat. He did the same, he left all the other goats and came to find that goat. He went ahead in search of the goat, where he saw an old (Man)Baba sitting.

 

Ali asked Baba(Old man) that have you seen my goat. Baba said, he is very hungry, give him something to eat, he has not eaten anything for 2 days. Ali had only a little food which he had taken for himself, if he had given this food to Baba he would have starved but he gave that food to old(Man) Baba.

 

After having food, Baba said that your goat has gone further towards the valley. Ali went ahead towards the valley. It was night while leaving. Ali saw a cave, he went to that cave, he thought he would have to spend the night in it. He started sleeping but due to hunger he could not even sleep. He said, I wish I had food.

As soon as he said this, a feast of many royal dishes came in front of him. He was very surprised and he ate that food. When he started sleeping after eating, he started feeling cold. He said, I wish I had a sheet. Only then a sheet came in front of him. Now he understood that this cave is magical. After that he fell a sleep.

After waking up in the morning, he said, I wish I could get my goat. As soon as he said this, he saw a goat coming from outside. He became very happy and took the goat and went away. On the way he gave that sheet to the old Baba who had shown the way to that valley to Ali.

 

He told this to his friend Muneeb. Knowing the whole thing, he thought how foolish Ali is, who came from such a magical cave only by asking for a goat. He thought of going to that cave. Knowing the whole route from Ali, he started for the cave.While going towards the cave, he saw the same old Baba. Munib asked Baba the way to the cave. When Baba asked him for food, Munib said, if I give you food, what will I eat? On his asking, Baba showed Muneeb the way to the cave.

When he reached the valley and saw the cave, he was very happy. He quickly went inside that cave and said to the cave, give me so much treasure that I cannot count even in my life. At first nothing happened but after some time the treasure started appearing in front of him and he became very happy.Slowly that treasure was increasing. Munib started counting the treasure. He got so engrossed in counting the treasure that he did not notice that the door of the cave was closing because of the increasing treasure. In no time the door of the cave was completely closed. Even after that the treasury kept on increasing. In a short while Muneeb died by being buried in that treasure.

 

Moral of the story:-

This story teaches us that we should never be greedy. Greed is an evil force. The way Munib greedy for the treasure and lost his life.
